You can receive notifications when there may be outdated content on your devices or if your device is unavailable to the DS-GO server.
Notifications are formed as a report which is automatically sent to your specified email.
The report is generated and sent at the interval you specify.
The report will contain information about:
- Devices that could not perform publication at the time of the report because they were unavailable (offline status);
- Devices with insufficient storage space for content publication (space limit);
- Devices that exceeded the time limit for publication;
- Devices that have been offline for 5, 30 minutes, 1, 2, 3, 6, 12, and 24 hours.
To receive notifications about devices that failed to publish because the device was unavailable (offline status) – select Yes in the unavailable for publication line.
To receive notifications about devices that failed to publish due to insufficient storage space (space limit) – select Yes in the limit space for publication line
.
To receive notifications about devices that exceeded publication time – select Yes in the publication time over line and specify the time limit.
For example, if you are confident that your device’s internet connection is stable and your internet speed is at least 5 Mbps – set the minimum value – 30 minutes. This time is usually more than enough to publish 500Mb of content. If the publication is not completed within this time, for example because the connection with the device was unstable – the publication will be notified.
To receive notifications about devices that have been unavailable (offline status) for more than 5 days – select Yes in the device is unavailable for more than a day line.
