Section Tags device.
This section specifies tags that will help you publish targeted content to both each device and groups of devices.
Let’s give an example on one device.
For the template zone, the Advertising tag is specified, and in the Tags device section, a tag is specified, for example: Display-1.
If you specify only the Display-1 device tag for a file published to this device, the file will not be published. The reason is that the template zone tag is not specified for it. It would be correct to indicate only the zone tag – Advertising.
Let’s give an example on several devices.
All devices have a template zone tag Advertising, and in the Tags device section, each device is assigned an individual tag: Display-1, Display-2, Display-3 and so on. If for a published file you specify only device tags Display-1,2,3, etc., then the file will not be published. Reason: the template zone tag was not specified. If you specify only the zone tag – Advertising, then the file will be published on all devices. And if you additionally specify device tags for the zone tag – Display-1, Display-2, then the file will be published only to these devices.
Section Projects.
DS-PRO provides the ability to play content in two independent layers. Each layer can have an individual template and a set of tags. The difference between layers is the priority of displaying content published in them – content in layer 1 (Layer 1) will be played, interrupting the display of content in layer 2 (Layer 2). As a comparison, we can cite the display scheme of central television – films or programs are interrupted to show advertising. If there is no such task, you can use any of the layers, for example Layer 1.
For each zone of the template, several tags can be used, for example Advertising and Announcements. In this case, the files will be played in groups and according to the order of the zone tag: First, all files with the Advertising tag will be played, and then all files with the Advertising tag, and so on, in cyclic order. To change the order of zone tags, hold down the tag with the mouse and place it in the desired direction.
